indian golf enthusiasts have access to top class coaching only if they spend several thousands of dollars and travel abroad. while some good coaches have visited india in the past, no program for golf instruction at this level is available in india on an ongoing basis.
target54’s mission is to bring top instructors to india and provide world class coaching at affordable prices and on a consistent basis (our plan is to conduct clinics every quarter). while this will benefit all golfers, it will be particularly helpful to young golfers, thereby growing indian golf at the grass-root level.
to reinforce target54’s commitment to promote golf in india, young golfers will be charged a subsidized rate to participate in these clinics.
our pilot coaching tour:
target54 is planning its pilot coaching clinic tour in january 2010 in chennai, bangalore, hyderabad and delhi. the tour will be led by brett langley, the ex-head professional of pebble beach golf links, california. training programs will be customized based on skill level of the participants (low, mid and high handicappers) as well as video swing analysis. golfers will have an opportunity to participate in ½ day, 1 day or 2 day training programs covering full swing, short game, putting, course management and drills.
